Privacy Policy

• Account info — your email, name, username, and the optional school, major, and graduation year you provide.
• Your content — the notes, lectures and audio, uploaded files and photos, drawings, calendar items, and messages you create in the app.
• Usage data — activity needed to run features (e.g. study streaks, quota counts) and basic logs.
• Payment info — if you subscribe, your payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

To provide and improve the service: to run AI features (turning your notes, lectures, and uploads into study guides, flashcards, quizzes, and answers), to manage your account and subscription, to send service messages you've enabled (deadline reminders, unread- message emails), and to keep the app secure. We do not sell your personal information.

To provide features, your content is shared with the processors below strictly to deliver the service:

• Anthropic (Claude)— the text, images, and PDFs you submit to Bella are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses and study materials. Per Anthropic's API terms, this content is not used to train their models.
• Deepgram— lecture audio is sent for transcription, and Bella's spoken replies are generated as audio.
• Supabase — our database, file storage, and authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional and notification email.
• Google — optional sign-in (OAuth), optional Google Drive import (only files you pick), and, for free accounts, Google AdSense.

AI output can be wrong — always check it against your own sources.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. On free accounts we show ads via Google AdSense, which may set advertising cookies; paid plans are ad-free. Where required by law, you can manage ad personalization through Google's settings.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your content and cancels any active subscription. Some records may persist briefly in backups before being purged.

note logger is built for students. It is intended for users 13 and older. If you are under 13, you may use it only with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, or school as required by law (e.g. COPPA, and FERPA where a school directs use). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without such consent; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

You can access and update your information in Settings, delete your account, and turn off notification emails. To exercise other rights available in your region, email us.

We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
